first and last nocturnal.
great music, but you couldn't pay me to endure that horrendous crowd again. staff/security were completely rude and unprofessional to artists performing with headliners.
stage access : yay. |

yeah same with Benassi, was a mad house in there! but he couldn't do it  |
Completely expected. Unless you're at a club that goes late-late, they cut you off (2am for "normal" clubs, 4am for the others)
Doesn't mean we don't want them playing after 4 :haha: |

My 2cents on the night:
1) D Ramirez blew my mind.
2) During PVD, Did anyone else hear the 'live drums' sound a few measures before the drummer realized he was supposed to start playing? that was disappointing.
3) Hey dude, put your shirt back on before you try to slime your way past me |

chemical brothers blew me away. what a show. amazing visuals, great tracks. wish they could have played longer.
pvd was pvd like normal, i like his sets everytime regardless how many times i've heard the same thing over. he should've played longer though. 2 hours isn't enough for him.
i haven't been to any of the other downtown parties either so i really enjoyed the location and layout.
chemical brothers stole the night imo |

Lol so true. Thats almost as bad as those guys dressing up like girls wearing full masks. I noticed that there were a lot more guys than girls by a long shot.. maybe i was just at the wrong areas. Was it just me or did sharam mix a bunch of his songs bad? |

I loved it when sharam played home sweet home and the extended vocals to the one. It kinda sucked at the end when everyone was chanting for an encore and the peeps over there wouldnt let him play one or something. I was really hoping he would drop dreams since i haven't heard that song live. |

Thats why they need to be smart like Morillo...
Stop 3-4mins right before the top of the hour act like you are going to wrap it up and BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM drop a last track!
Sharam should have done that instead of dropping "The One" again for a minute @ closing...

Ramirez is the MAN!
He is so ing Electro he wears Electric tape on his shoes!!!
I was talking to him on stage while Knight was putting it DOWN. I looked down and saw his shoes. No ing joke he had like 1/2 roll of black electric tape on each shoe. I pointed down at his shoes, and told him "Man you are ing electro, from the music to produce to the tape on your feet!" He started laughing like crazzzzzy :eyespop:

I really like Matt Dekay's set.
Benassi was alirght but that place was a madhouse.
I honestly was quite neutral on PVD. It was a good set, but like everyone else has said, it had little creativity and I expected a little more there.
I really like Sharam's set. I ended the night there and I wasn't dissappointed.
Overall it was a great nocturnal. EXCEPT for getting stuck in the effing parking deck for 2 hours.. DAMN that sucked... |

x2
We were stuck not moving for about 20mins, then i parked and told everyone that we were going to WALK yes WALK to the after party. But yeah that walk did suck :(
Oh yeah, got back to the parking lot at ~ 8am only to it being COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN WITH NO WAY TO GET IN!
Some one was cleaning the guido restaurant on the back side of the complex and after i begged in spanish for a minute she was graceful enough to get the door for us :D |

The Macy's parking structure, right? Man, that thing was a clusterfvck! We were on level 8 and it took about an hour for us to get out. |

really? I saw one of the guys on stage signal the people in the back to i guess turn the speakers back on or something, but it seemed like Sharam didn't want to do it. I was really confused there.
Most memorable part of the night was when he dropped PATT and these 2 girls threw it down right in front of me lmao.
A fun night but I was really expecting more.
EDIT: jesus is there anyway to get my user name in lower caps? I made this account when i was 14 haha. |
