dude, all these football players get maaaad p00ntang. Make. no. mistake. about. it.
All this BS about andy reid having family issues and that's impacting the team - that's all crock of . That gives team actual credit - that they are actually don't deserve. Granted, Reid's "tallent" for selecting good players is... obvious. F*ck that. I bet Dante Stallworth is laughing his ass off - his team is demolishing every opponent, he actually has a chance to go to the big game and get a ring - something Eagles could not add to his contract, even if the Pope himself was in the front office.
Watching Eagles vs Jets pre-season game, I saw everything that I needed to see. I knew the team was done, before they even got started. They release most tallented players - I guess it's one way to get to the top of the draft list. Too bad that even if they had the first draft pick, they'd squander it away on the least qualified player.
Watching Justice get his ass handed to him and Reid doing the same thing over and over again - hehehehehe. Priceless. I'd imagine at least Jimmy would throw in a tight end to help him out. Nope. No such luck. I guess if the first 6 or so sacks didn't show 'em what needs to be done, well... why would the rest?
I figure if eagles blow the Jets game, this season is pretty much over. I hope Reid and McKnob are refreshing their resumes and packing their right about..... now. |

What could you have possibly gotten out of watching that game? I was at that game and the only things you could have seen were that Tony Hunt looks like hes going to be pretty good in a year or so and that Kevin Kolb has strong arm. The starters didn't even play.
So, after reading your post, I've seen everything I needed to see. Your one of those people who runs their mouth just to be annoying. |

One of the reasons football is at the bottom of my favorite sports list: where the hell is the loyalty to your hometown team? Home many true new yorkers do you know who like the pittsburgh pirates? Probably ZERO, however, i bet you can name a few that like the steelers. That's bull in my mind. |

Actually, you can see a lot from secondaries how your season is going to shape out.
Remember, few years ago - when Steelers went to SB? That year they played Eagles' starters, while having mostly secondaries in the line up. Eagles got crushed.
Knowing how vulnerable some of our playmakers are, it'd be nice to know that some of the "reserves" are actually good enough to stand in and take the load, should it be necessary.
Case and point: Last year when McNabb got injured, front office had to go and get Garcia. What about wide receivers to replace T.0.? Stallworth was a true runner-up for the spot. Where is he now? Who do we have? Regie Brown? Did you see him play lately?
Who can we put in place of Winston Justice? What happens if Kearse gets injured again?
yeah, I'd say your second-strings are just as important as your starters. Watching some of them play in pre-season, I'd be concerned that if the starters were out, we'd be left with mediocre (at best) or inexperienced players.
my $0.02, don't spend it all in one place. |
