For the Philly TA's, I gotta say Congrats, and it must be crazy over there.
I'm still mad at the Mets meltdown (couldn't they at least give us a better effort and a better game on the last day?? :whip: They also ruined the 4-way tie, and a chance of an I-95 NLCS), but the Phigtin's deserved it with their play, and they've made a great story.
Certainly better them winning it, than having the same ol' same ol' with the Braves.
My start in watching baseball was going to the Vet, and seeing Mike Schmidt & co. (too bad I don't remember whether I ever saw Steve Carlton pitch)
The 1964 team has been absolved, so I guess the next step is to do the same for Mitch Williams. |

| Yes, the city is insane at the moment..Thank God for them, cause the Eagles SUCK this year (well every year)..every bar will be packed come Wednesday,..just a great team, great bunch of guys...Hope they make it all the way.... |
