"So New York" means the party is going to be New York style, which, really, shouldn't be hard to figure out.

New York style parties usually are big roomed events with a huge headliner (that is from NYC most of the time) that goes until the sun comes up. Music is usually whatever big rooms in New York are playing. Add in the fact the club is basically the best parts of what worked in previous New York establishments, and there you go...New York style!

The main room at Guv has more European headliners and doesn't really play NYC style music.

But let's face it, Guv is TORONTO style and is not patterning itself after anyone else. It's a world class club.

Circa makes me feel like I am in New York (when I have been there during construction), Guv makes me feel like I'm home.
