my friend is an employee and told me that an ex-employee ed over the companies financial situation and forced it to close its doors. Now its gonna be mainly an online shop

Wow...that really sucks. Legendary NYC shop down the tubes :(

sad that the place is gone.. Found lots of gems in the techno section.. Met danny tenaglia there one time. But i do agree vinyl cost way too much! I would come outta there spending like a 100 for 10 lps but now you can buy quadruple the amount of music on the interweb. There is still something special about vinyl though!
