Hi everyone,
This time I'm not posting a thread to promote myself as an artist, but to announce my new project.
My brother and I have decided to take a further step in the music industry, by starting our own Record Label.
We are interested in demos of all electronic music genres (except Drum & Bass), Trance, House, Electro, Techno, Downtempo, Ambient and sub genres (if any for each), even that new style of music that only your locals know about, if we like it we'll give it a shot.

Real Legacy Records will open within the first quarter of 2008, this is because if we are to open a business it must work perfectly, so no rush is needed here.
Do we have a web page? No professional record label don't have a web page?
Answer to that is we are working on it, by 2008 we'll be able to provide our artists a portal they will feel proud of, including very nice features, like interviews, tutorials, reviews etc.
You don't even have a myspace for your label? if you are asking yourself this question, you are right we don't, but we will, remember we are in the developement process , and we estimate that we'll have everything in order by no later than March 2008.
What quality must the demo be?
We'll only accept demos that are commercially releasable.

What kind of support do we as artist must expect to get from Real Legacy Records?
We'll be releasing your music in digital formats, (mp3 & wav) and we are working and getting ringtone/realtone/polyphonic distribution as well.
We are starting small with a vision of growing in all aspects, so as we grow financially, we'll aim to release your music through other formats other than digital.
Advances? no advances at the moment, sry.
We'll also be able to promote your music, through some national stations (FM) and internet stations, and you'll be getting support from several djs around the world, also is very important that you (the sign artists) are willing to help us out in this field as well, the more people involved in the promotion process the better it is.

Also, I forgot to say, demos shouldn't be seen shared anywhere else, full copies of them that is.

Bumping this thread with some new info.
We have created a myspace page. It will be our "website" while our official website is being constructed.

We have a few tracks signed already by artists like Funky Space Pirates (Progressive House), Josh Beats (Electro.
We are in negotiations with a few more artists, but I won't disclose any information until it is a sure thing. :)
The first two releases, "Paradise Beyond the Mirror" a track produced by myself in collaboration with Alex Reliic, will be released on February, yet the exact release date remains unknown.
With remixes done by 5th Dynasty , MxP Project and Van Lazarux & Sergio Mix. This is going to be a full progressive trance release.
The second one, will be a solo of my own "Der Mystik - Colombia", and remixes are in being done by Alex Van Gar, DC Project and Dj Eco.

Other news, we have secured distribution with Label Worx we will be selling our release through the major online portals and CDjshop.com
Also, I'm going to have a 30 minutes slow at my show "Der Sezzionz" for bed rooms Djs, this slot will be offered to only those djs that are starting and need some exposure and i'm willing to provide it.
Der Sezzionz has been syndicated to Party Radio USA, Deviant Audio, Tracklists.ca, and Aftershock Promotions.
