I feel sorry for those who are so blindly partisan that they ignorantly refrain from watching and hence are then unable to glean pieces of (possibly extremely important) information from any sort of presentation (whether it be a YouTube video, a History Channel show, a Philosophical lecture, etc.) which they can then further research and/or ruminate upon in order to determine validity and/or credibility.

firstly, let's leave the "partisanship" calls for you yanks. those of us across the pacific rarely see things in such simplistic terms.

secondly, i HAVE watched the movie, at least most of it. and i found it seriously wanting. i have NOTHING against the medium of a doco, but i do expect a reasonably intelligent production that does more than simply say "this is how it is" -reeks of amateurism.

real docos have real experts and real evidence, not just a take-it-or-leave-it voice over. part 2 was especially bad with its inclusion of loose marbles, THE joke of internet documentaries

Because he didn't really refute anything with a valid argument?

Is this a trick answer or something?

let's keep the 911 in one the one thread can we?

i dont really care for the evolution of christianity because i am an atheist.

and the bankers argument is merely one of many theories (probably all relevant) dealing with the great depression.

i am merely criticising the quality of this doco, which is very poor, for reasons already noted.

CHRles
LOL, oh man this was looooong and extremely amateurish.
It's like someone watched a bunch of hollywood movies, plagiarized some shock-value lines from movie/book scripts, watched one too many 9/11 docs (both official and other pseudo-docs) and came up with this garbage.
All the crap that Krypton spews on this forum is all on this 2 hour annoyingly retarded movie. If you're not an engineer, if you're not a historian, if you don't know much about economics, but you are anti-US or anti-government, then you too can be easily influenced by that link. It feeds off people that are desperate for a meaning to their lives, and who are desperate to feel like they're in the matrix and someone just gave them the blue pill.

I think pkc had his best reply to this subject the other day. Some anti-US freak was on here telling us that his dad was in NYC on 9/10/01 and some cab driver "warned" him that the following day wouldn't be a safe one. Pkc's reply was that if this was some secret government ploy, how is it possible that so many people including the cab drivers were in on this?
I guess all those people who worked so hard at the Trade towers were in on this too, right?

I never said that it was a good documentary, I just said that it contained some good info.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are apparently in quite poor condition (having been stored in caves for many centuries) but I sure would love to be able to read and/or understand them nevertheless. I can't imagine all of the well guarded Gnostic insights that they might possess.

Anyhow, Religious history is just another part of our world's history. I don't think that a belief in God is one of the prerequisites to being a Religious historian or even a Theologian. However, on another note, I personally think that a belief in a higher, materially transcendental power is necessary in order to cultivate a higher Spiritual intelligence but that organized religion itself is just a bureaucracy between man and that higher power.
