Just thought I'd pass the news along, for those who haven't heard yet...
"Armin van Buuren has been hosting his radio show A State of Trance for over 6 years already. Since the first episode ASOT has been growing and has over 6 million listeners worldwide every single week.

Ah, right - how could I have possibly missed that wonderful new feature.
This is so much more convenient for me than spending every Thursday trying to track down those hard to find links to the show on the rare occasion I miss it live.

so i take it i'm not the only one who finds the concept of podcasts utterly pointless?
nothing in particular against ASOT here, since loads of shows do it. but just about every major internet radio show out there gets recorded & shared online anyway, and in this case, why would people bother with 'highlights' when they can just grab the full thing & flick through it?
it does seem purely a buzzword thing.. for people who've only discovered mp3s/ipods in the past two years |

When it comes down to it, there's just no way I can come up with fresh & innovative ideas like podcasting - so really the best I could ever hope for is runner up. |
