Yo peeps! I'm on a roll today with these posts, but there's so much to plan ;)
Been scouring the 'net for hotels near the sports arena for monster massive. Figured it would be a good idea to see where everyone is staying ;)
Hotel suggestions within walking distance to the sports arena? |

i dont think you want to stay in any hotel that is walking distance from the la sports arena, that area is ghetto. get a hotel in downtown or something and take a taxi, its much nicer if you want to pay more, there is a holiday inn or something around there too.
as for me, if i even go to mm, i would drive from santa monica. |

Stay in downtown and take a cab. Sheraton Downtown is good spot |

yea, i live in downtown, a cab to the arena doesn't cost much at all.
dunno if i'll go this year although nocturnal has given me hope that massives can still be good. |

Like they said...you don't want anything walking distance!
Stay somewhere in downtown and take a cab. One of the above places or I recommend the Downtown Standard. |

| You may also want to consider Hollywood if your going to go to afterhours @ Avalon. That Crash Mansion was a nice place to wind down in downtown last Saturday after Nocturnal but I'm not sure if anyone has booked it yet. |

| When I went to Giant New Year's I stayed at the LA Athletic Club (it's a hotel). It's right around the other previously mentioned hotels, but cheaper, and it's still pretty nice. |

Bah! Well the whole reason I was considering hotels was to have a place very close to the venue for pre- and after-partying! That way, none of us would have to worry about driving either. Sort of defeats the purpose since I live in LA myself. Might as well pool together for a cab and save some ca$h in this case. Ah well, scratching this option for Plan B!
Cheers :D |

We always stay at the Radisson accross the street from USC and it takes about 8-10 minutes to walk there (even in 4" heels). We've done it for many years and never encountered any problems whatsoever (especially since DPS is patrolling the area for students anyways). Maybe its just because we went to school there, but the quick walk to and from is just perfect for us! Its really well priced and its the closest hotel to the SA without having to catch a cab :-) HTH!
