Here we go again with the criticism!
Lets analyze this for a minute... Iran knows that most of the world is against their stance on their nuclear program. They have been hearing all these speculations of the US attacking nuclear facilities to halt their program. Do you think Iran is going to take the risk and not be fully prepare? Iran has said clearly if the US attacks them they will strike back to US interest in the region and a possible attack on Israel... wouldnt it make sense for that to occur that the Iranians would have to improve their missile program? :rolleyes: If you think that Iran is not working towards those improvement for their military I must say you are not even worth listening to :p |

So basically you are saying that if the US attacks Iran, Iran will in turn fight back by attacking US interests in the region. Now the question is, this is wrong why? It seems fairly logical that if you attack someone they will defend themselves. That Iran is improving their military is fairly obvious. If that is all you have to argument for, then this is nothing new. To say however that Iran will have the capability in less than ten years to have a working ICBM is a bit of a stretch though.
Also, in case you missed it, this is a debate forum. Criticism is the norm, if you don't like it, don't come here. |

I have a problem with the fact that Iran keeps talking about how it's going to hurt Israel if the US attacks Iran's nuclear facilities.
Not America itself, but rather another country...a country which the Iranian administration has already said it believes should be wiped off the map.
During the first Gulf War when the US attacked Sadam, he retaliated by sending Skad missiles over Israel. So if Iran threatens to do worse to Israel, these statements should be taken seriously.
So let's compare - the US is threatening to attack Iran's nuclear facilities while Iran threatens to attack indiscriminantly another country. Not Lebanon, not Saudi Arabia, just Israel. Hmmmm.... |

The issue here is not if Iran will retaliate... the issue here is that they are developing a missile program that can threatened the safety and peace of other nations in the region and our allies. clearly iran cannot be trusted with this type of armory. we know their position, they hate us, if they had the chance to wipe us out the map they wouldnt hesitate to do it. i mean man all you have to do is look up speeches that the president of iran makes, not the speeches here in the US, but on his native country. |

Well they have not done, as of yet, anything the US has not done in the past or still does right now. Even though I agree that weapons development around the whole world, including the US, should be curtailed because it is useless, you can not expect someone to put down their weapons when you refuse to lower your own. Should we worry about what Iran might do with ICBM's. Sure, it's a valid preoccupation. But as someone else already pointed out, this report it pretty innaccurate. With Iran's current technology they are surely not 8 years away from having a fully functional ICBM. And they probably already have missiles that can hit Israel anyways. So this article is serving no other purpose than trying to convince the people of the US that Iran should be attacked. This is propaganda, at best. |

hmm they are the ones that are trying so hard to negotiate with the Americans and they are keep saying that they dont want any war,yet American is keep pushing towards the war.
