Got Dyson "ball" on woot for $300. They have them every few weeks or so, keep checking woot - they had one last week for $289. (woot.com)
I love that vac, I swear. Never enjoyed vacuuming until I got that vac. |

OK, seriously the best vacuum cleaner you can get is the Filter Queen Majestic. I know this because my grandfather used to represent sales for it in my country. |
And of course, your opinion is entirely bias-free.... I bet you're a lot like me - you know - my mom is a hair stylist but I always tell potential clients to go somewhere else.
   |

do you need me to elaborate? if so i will. remember AMOUNT of suction is not everything. head design is KEY to how a vacuum picks up dirt. |
Whatever...I'm not talking out of my ass here, I've actually seen it perform and have tested it against other vacuums myself and believe me, it kicks pretty much every vacuum in the ass, SPECIALLY the Kirby. As with head design, it has a rotating power nozzle
that really digs in.

Actually, cannister vacuums are much better than upright ones. Upright vacuums have bags that can't really contain the dust since they need to have tiny microscopic holes to keep the bag from filling up with air and exploding everytime you power it on. These holes are actually bigger than about 25% of dust particles, meaning 1 out of every 4 particles escapes back into the room.
I'm not advertising anything here, just recommending what I know for a fact is the best in the market. ;) |

otherwise, yes, i'd def. shop online. i'm sure its even cheaper on on amazon |

nono, i mean the uprights w/ the canisters in them...i don't like the little canister on 4 wheels that follows you around w/ one big ass hose attachment. i prefer the ones that i can move w/ the handle and ....but still bagless.

the power nozzle i currently have doesn't rotate...it just kinda goes straight in. that would be the if i could rotate my power nozzle. especially all over the carpet. |

Entirely different situation here...
Anyways, my gd retired about 5 years ago. I'm actually talking about experience with it and other vacuums.
One thing I forgot to mention, is that you can only get the filters from Filter Queen itself which can REALLY be a bitch.
Like I said earlier, I'm just recommending out of experience. ;) |
