wow everything you just said makes me believe that you have no idea what you are talking about.
First of all the opener's initial's are JJ if you even knew that it was jollins, NOT peters.
second of all, everytime a headliner plays, they always come on around that time.
third, they always end at that time because thats when the CLUB closes (except for crack fest's like JP's).
And lastly, I was up in the booth and Ferry was asking around to the club/Made guys to see if he COULD in fact play an encore and they refused to let him play and shut him down.
You have obviously never been to a REAL club night because everything you are upset about is everything that ALWAYS happens. predictable, right? |
First of all, I'm not a fan of either JJ or JP, so whatever, I honestly wouldn't see either one of them if they were spinning at a free event.
Second, last shows I've been to, the headliner came on at 12 or 1, depending on what time the doors opened.
Third, I have seen DJs at pacha go on past 6, and I have seen DJs spin encores til 15-20 minutes passed 6. I wasn't sure if it was Pacha or Ferry as I said, but I still thought it was lame.
The last statement really doesn't mean jack to me, as I go clubbing all the time. I said his set was predictable, and thats not really a bad thing either, I just didn't hear a lot of songs I've never heard before, which is usually the case when I've seen Ferry. Think whatever you want, you don't know about me. |

as you don't know about her.
Take the time to RE-READ her post (if you even read it the first time) and she explained everything to you. Don't come all up here with a ty attitude and making the wrong statements about who is spinning and then expect people to take you seriously. Save your negative attitude for some other group of people that give a about you. |

I think we would rather keep it that way.

I dont think anything about you, I was simply letting you know what goes on on a typcial night for a big headliner at Pacha. If you dont like the things that I listed back to you, then you are going to be extremely dissaponted in your nights out at Pacha, because things rarely alter from the norm of what I pointed out.
If you choose to come back, be prepared that these things that you complain about, occur on a nightly basis, and you are going to have to deal with it. If you dont like "the norm," then feel free to not come back and make more room for us on the dance floor. |

Hey guys!
Thanks so much for all of the positive comments regarding my set!
It was great seeing so many of you at Pacha (yup, even the hecklers in the mezz). haha
Ferry is a great guy, seriously, such a nice person. And I really enjoyed his set as well. I usually ask dj's at least a couple times a night about certain tracks, but I didn't do it this time and there's one track he played that was amazing. I think it's one of the tracks that weren't id'd earlier in this thread.
Well, I'm off to Brazil right now for a 2 week tour. I'm booked to play Pacha in Sao Paulo which I'm very excited about. However, the 14 hour flight that's ahead of me is not something I'm looking forward to. :)
Thanks again and see you all on October 26th with PVD,
Jason

yeah for real, when I got that flyer walking out of Labour, I KNEW this was gonna be a sick party. I heard Carl Cox and Loco Dice tag-teaming was a huge highlight and that Deadmau5 stole the show. (not top mention Ferry 8 hour, playing EVERY toon I ever wanted to hear him play!!) NO LIE, this is the MOST upset I have ever been about missing a party. :( :( I am gonna curl up in a corner and suck my thumb now!! :haha: :haha: --->kidding ;)
*next time ferry comes, I am sending him toronto's TL and writing him a brief message: "PLAY ALL THIS. that is all." |
Sorry to hear about that scheduling snafu, YankeeBaby:( Not that the the devestation you felt having missed him at Guv is completely comprable to mine, but having missed Ferry on Friday is my equivalent of the most missed party sadness I have felt (with the exception of Armin, back in March).
I just had wanted to hear him (and Jason:cool: ) spin once again this year, despite, yes, a bit of predictability, as some of you you had pointed out(ie Smash my Bitch Up), which I really don't mind. In fact, maybe I'm a bit sentimental, but a highlight of the past nights seeing him have been listening to a Gouryella track, classics like Out of the Blue, or Punk. Maybe it's because I started clubbing late (ie after Twilo), or because I have been going less and less to trance events, but I love hearing those tracks. I love chanting with everybody else around me, the melody to Punk. And speaking of classics, Eugina was one the tracks that got me into trance in the first place, and I missed hearing it:mad: Oh well.
I just hope Pacha does something about that air conditioning. |
