I had 2 hot warm up laps and learned the track but during the race they mad us turn off the ESP (stabilization control) and the car drove completely different.

Will this help women drive better?

There are a few more pictures of R8s that have randomly burst into flames while cruising down the roadway. This isn't an uncommon issue from what I've seen.

for an R8 base is around 115k but can go into 140k if you get everything. The S5 we have at our dealership is 59K

I've had a go of a couple of cars with stability control, a Mitsubishi, a Toyota and a Mercedes and I've still got mixed feelings on it. It'll stop an average driver crashing a road car as much under normal conditions but it does tend to be fairly invasive on a track in terms of controlling things that you'd normally be doing yourself reacting to the cars dynamics.

I need to get myself to another track day sometime :(

traction control has its place and is needed for some drivers, i mean jesus, some drivers out there need all the help they can get lol

Personally i don't like it, takes the fun out of driving, its all part of the fun pushing the car to its limits and having it drift out and holding it in a power slide :)

i tend to race in the 'retro' classes on track, all cars that don't have traction control etc, its a test of your driving skills and the cars limits.

This is me at donnington about a month ago :)

Most of these things in a track car are ultimately just intrusive and crappy, then they break down and cost $1000's to fix because it's made by engineers with too much budget and no one knows how to fix it except some hermit on a mountain, on another continent... who will also charge through the nose.
They have their place though, keeping crap drivers on the road who get their licences in cornflake packets and keeping mechanics servicing at warranty point of sales centres from getting too bored.

Take a look at these wallpapers (there are ~100 of them):

Audi R8 is officially my dream car.

Awww, hotlinking sucks.

Quit being a pansy and buy a real car. The Murcielago LP640 > Audi's version of the Gallardo.
