Ehh, I don't like J-Pop. J-Buttrock is pretty much the best genre of music EVER... Nobuo Uematsu and Ian Gillan - Eternity :tongue3
What is this and where can a get a copy of this track?!?
Ghost: Both are about the same. The language is a bit different, and in Korea there is more of a focus on boy/girl groups than on solo efforts.
wotyzoid: Yeah, I'm not a big fan of all those YouTube videos that put some song over Kingdom Hearts scenes. The game isn't THAT good people :eyespop:
montana
hikari / simple & clean was the main theme of kingdome hearts.
and i used to like, well, i still sort of like some jpop. most stuff i listen to nowadays is some of the hikaru utada albums. "first love" & "deep river", but i tend to pop in hamasaki ayumi's duty once a while aswell. m-flo is/was? good also, edit. also Pizzicato Five, but i think they never really was jpop in the modern sense just shibuya-kei stuff

No, buddy, that is the actual opening scene from kingdom hearts.
Utada Hikaru - Simple and Clean (PlanitB Remix)
edit: and I have to disagree with the comment about kingdom hearts, freaking greatest game of all time. Simply because it is the best match up of characters in theory and it pulled it off brilliantly.

M-Flo is good. I don't know what they're up to lately but I know I want to buy a copy of Astromantic and their remix CD soon...
And I know that is the main theme of the game (I should know since I own a copy). I just stopped watching anything on Youtube with KH footage because of all the crappy "remix" videos that are out there :eyespop:
On the plus side KH did introduce a lot of people to Utada Hikaru, who has a lot of amazing material besides "Hikari" and "Passion". I'm a big fan of her First Love and Deep River albums. Distance had some great tracks on it but wasn't the greatest album as a whole. I liked Exodus, but it seemed a bit too experimental to catch on in the states :( I should pick up a copy of Ultra Blue soon.
I still play out the Richard Vission or Scumfrog mixes of 'Devil Inside' ;) Heck, I should try dropping the entended PlanitB mix of 'Simple and Clean' at my next gig!

Yeah its pricey. I got mine through special order with my local record store (which is now closed :( ) for $10. The price won't be much better even if you went to Japan, where it would retail for ~1200 yen ($10-11).
At least be glad that you're not trying to find this on vinyl. J-Pop stuff on vinyl is close to impossible to find over here...

It's the boss theme for the game "Blue Dragon"... if you search "Ian Gillan Eternity" on youtube you can get to hear. It's a real love it or hate it song!
