Ridiculous music all night long. So happy this night happened and my aching body is very pleased with dancing as much as I did.
Looking forward to next week with Lexicon. |

Ricky totally delivered on Friday night..... for those who were in attendance, you know what I'm talking about. To open up for an artist who I have admired for years was a huge deal for me - and I don't think I've enjoyed playing an opener as much as I did that night.
I've got one video (due to my battery ing off after it) - and some pictures from random facebook taggings. I'll get them up shortly.
Also - might just have some music to post up as well ;) |

| Hey Jeff... awesome opening set bratha. You had the crowd nicely pumped for Ricky Ryan. I thought Ricky was great! He was reading the crowd pretty well and kept those beats coming at a constant pace. Then he kicked it up a notch with a lil tribal in the 2nd half of his set. me likes! :) Brad was building up another great set after Ricky went off the decks but by that time I was ready to head home. Another great night at the Mod Club. I'm seriously digging these Exposed events. The crowd is dressed up yet not snobby, no trouble with the staff, always plenty of room to bust a move, great sound & lighting. Hopefully I'll stick around for Lexicon Ave after Trentemoller next Friday. |

Great job Jeff, I did not hear your entire set and what I did hear were some kick ass beats :D
I could not get into Ricky's set, something was lacking until he started to play tribal
it was my 1st time at the mod and must agree with tordan on this one
love the set up, the sound and it's sweet to have clear view of the dj on a stage. |

I have to say I really like this venue, the music, and the crowd it attracts... always good times coming out, and this was no exception.
Jeff you warmed up the room nicely - actually I should say a bit more than warmed up cause i always manage to get dancing well before the end of your opening sets. It was mine (and I guess a lot of peoples') first time hearing Ricky Ryan (got a bit of a taste from the sets posted)... liked his groove and where he was at - kept me going for the time I was there, with a minimal amount of outside breaks (I like my 'zone' in the front-left right where i am in the video... lol)
left a little early due to having to do Saturday morning, so I missed out on some of the goodness i'm sure - but looking forward to Lexicon this coming Friday for sure! |
