i downloaded this huge program...271 MB...on a 56K @ about 2 K/s....it took me about 2 days to download it. when it was complete i tried to install it...but there was no installation file...only a huge (270 MB) ".bin" file. what the hell is a ".bin" file? and how can i install this program.
(the whole downloaded file after unzipping contained only a "readme" file, that ".bin" file and a cue file --> for burning to a cd i guess...but i don't know what a ".bin" file is.) |

And .bin files are normally used by mp3 sites for covering up the .mp3 thing..just have to rename it :-) But i dont think thats the case this time..
Okay just a thought: r u sure you have winzip showing all things within the zip?? and so unzipped everything?

| More information would be useful, but is it a pirated version or any other info. Give it a shot and use CDR-Win or Fireburner to burn the Bin with the Cuesheet, otherwise you can extract the .bin file using a program like Isobuster, and extract all the files within |

| .bin is just an image file of the whole cd. It is supposed to be .cue file there also. Burn it with Nero, use Burn Image menu, load .cue or .bin itself. |
