MP3 Splitter/Cutting Program for Macs?

Been searching for this for days, can't find the perfect free program, can anyone help out. Need something free. I use to do this with Mp3 direct cut.....anyone wanna help?
Basically wanna cut down a 2 hour live set into two parts so I can fit them onto some 80 min CDR's.
Some help would be nice..Thanks! |

The best I've found was Fission but I need to buy the full version (32 Bucks) or less the mp3 I split has several fade in and outs through out the set.....bastards :whip: |

Yeah..i know..audacity is free..but I don't like the layout..and it does not compare to what you can do with Fission (which is the one that cost 32 for the full version)
just take a look at Fission....fu*kin ace program.

ok the layout isnt the greatest...but what do you want that it doesnt do? |

Well..maybe I don't know how to use audacity, but with Fission, you can mold split mp3's together...do fade ins and fade outs...and the corser key is shady on audacity...again maybe I'm not seeing this, but audacity layout is a bit annoying..can't see whats going on. |

ok are you basically trying to master the whole thing? sounds like it.
fade ins/outs are easy. select the range you want faded then go to effects and select fade in/out. not that hard. |

yeah...i guess audacity can do that..but the ease you can do it with Fission is stellar...the layout is amazing and the things you can do....
don't worry about me..I'll guess I'll try to figure things out.
