We just had a 40% hike in rates in the past 5 months. But to ease people into it, they are giving periodic fixed rate refunds (based on monthly usage groups). I received a check for 400 dollars for the last 7 months of usage. My typical bill for gas/electric is around 45-60 bucks. Math is in my side for the time being. |

my gas bil was like $16 last month....since th eonly thing that i have that is gas is my water heater and furnace.
ironically enough, during the winter time, when my gas bill skyrockets; my electric bill is super cheapp....even tho everything basically is on electric (stove, fridge, dryer). go fig |

shreveport, louisiana!!
edit,
i tihnk my bill in july was more expensive too because i had a roommmate who worked a diff shift than me. so was on more hours of the day.
that and i came home one time and the a/c was set around 55 degrees. i was pissed...because it had been on like that while i worked an entire night shift.
after he left, i bumped it back up to 80/85 like i normally had it. |
