so i was thinking
i don't want something huge that could slow me down, or something that'll automatically make people think i'm angry or hostile. just more something that says 'this man means business'

From what I can tell from their website they don't want you to change like that till after they leave one of those thingies on your door, after they do that you can request a different address. Here's the thing that bugs me though, just yesterday I saw an ad on TV for UPS delivery intercept, and can't for the life of me figure out how to get to it/use it.
So I'm wondering if anyone has had anything like this happen to them and has any idea what to do?

Call UPS, have your tracking number ready, and initial delivery address ready. Have them deliver it to the nearest UPS depot to you. Then you can pick it up there with your ID. 9 times out of 10 they won't deliver to a new address unless directed by the shipper. |

oh yeah. in fact almost every time i've ever had something delivered via UPS i've had to pick it up at their distribution center because they make you sign for stuff when it's delivered and i'm never home during delivery hours.
but you should still bring a sword, regardless. |

| don't they have those annoying 'whiteboard' commercials where they advertise something that can help with this stuff? you know those commercials where it's some douche writing in black marker and he ends up drawing the UPS logo at the end and they say 'what can brown do for you?' |

that only applies to shipments of 20,000+ items to arts & crafts stores.
...they also do it for glass bowls. |

ive actually changed the address many times. its not hard. it just delays it by a day. nothing more. |
