Wow i am very surprised no one had bother to post a review or any type of comments on this particular night...but i must say OMFG!!!!

Went with a few buddies of mine and wow the turnout was incredible...got there around 2:00 am and there was a monster line up for the guest and for the regular line...n my head i thought we would never get in....but fortunately stereo security and line ups were very nice and it went by pretty quickly compared to other afterhours or clubs...

Let me tell you! Wow good job Stereo...Stereo went full out with the decor. for this man and it was well worth it....balloons all around the ceiling...block stages set up all around along with a huge dance stage right in front of the dj booth (much higher then the reg. one trust me its not the same one like usual nights, it had stairs!) once i stepped it in it was completely packed...ppl jumping in the air loving each minute that cox was playing...it was a complete variety of house, tech house/prog, to some major uplifting crazy holds that would literally make you wanna slit your wrists in the air...the man's a true dj...he would even Mc during his sets and say "what up STEREO" lol...dancing in the booth to each tune...awww man he has complete passion for his work...i just wished he played more...i recall it was from sometime around 3-7 (4 hours). But wow he really played and pumped the living out of the people who experienced that night...It was weird too..When Cox ended i wasnt sure if it was him or not but his set ended with a trance song -Rex Mundi "Perspective"- very good hard trance song, but cox? , anyways I think it was a transiton song for 'Joachim Garraud' to mix his unique style in which was a really cool performance. it went from watching Cox at the front making the whole crowd turn to the back where he was performing. This man (Joachim Garraud) wow! very talented. Had a very cool dj set up on stage with a huge screen behind him. He played a live set with a piano electric guitar around him using it to play main parts in certain songs...very cool! He played till close...

Overall it was a complete memorabl night...Im very surprised that no one got to bother to post about this event cause i must say from danny howells, to eric prydz, and even digweed...i must say that cox delivered the overall performance! B

re-post from other thread...

got there around 3:30ish as usual. a bit of a sardine can but i guess it was bearable. Carl was pushing massive tunes through those speakers. wish the volume was a little louder though. pretty young crowd, felt like armin @ stereo last year. could someone please tell me what the hell Joachim was doing there? wasn't feeling his set at all. extremely repetitive. sounded like it was a one track set. anyways his set just felt really out of place. overall a pretty decent night, different crowd than usual, massive tracks dropped by Cox, all around consistent. thanks to swamper for the free tickets! by the way, Digweed @ Stereo still tops all! even carl cox...

All i have to say is that i wasnt expecting stereo to be that crowded, wow it was packed....vibe was intense.....cox threw a sick sick set....loved how he played up and down, played a mix of house and techno...would have loved if he played all out techno how he throws it down in Europe.....

regardless this man knows what hes doing behind the decks, loved the mc'ing and crowd interaction....

crowd went NUTS when he dropped Mauro Picotto - Evribadi.....

anyways he threw one of the best sets ive heard and i know hes capable of more....so would love to see him in the future.....

tripped me out when he ended with a trance song - Perspective and when Garraud started playing on the other side of the club...lol

Joachim Garrraud and his little piano guitar should be banned from Montreal, i mean ok some parts it sounded ok, and some parts my ears were going to explode, and his set was utter garbage....all he played were mainstream hits, and his set had no flow....wasn't expecting anything from him so i don't care, he and Guetta can go make more delicious French cheese together
