I'm pretty sure there's an answer in my previous post somewhere...

I can read, Nik, but what I find weird is... how the hell can Last.FM recommend you a track before it knows what your musical taste is? Can you just label a few tracks as "loved" and then ask for recommendations?

Erm... I have a plugin for WinAmp that logs all my played tracks to Last.Fm and it recommends me tracks based on that data.

How the hell do you use the site? :conf:

Oh, when you said you had never downloaded anything from their site, I thought it included plug-ins. Makes a lot more sense now.

Because I don't really have that much music in my computer, I often use their software. I've got a rather big playlist and I kinda like the feeling of listening to a radio station I can configure... and I can use WinAmp for other purposes while I'm still listening to music :)

i think thats it
idk

also, i rarely, if ever, use it for the radio, it just took the place of audioscrobbler :/

edit: i really don't know how it gets some of its data. i never leave music playing overnight, and somehow an album i listened to half of two months ago and haven't touched since is my #27 artist overall. wtf?!

also LOL bright eyes is #1
i mean...their new album is good, but that's from when i left town for a weekend with that album's playlist on repeat

It nevar forgets. So, if you listened to it two months ago, it counts. If you listened to something six months ago, it still counts.

God listened to Busta Rhymes just before the Big Bang... and, yup, it's still there :p
