i think the issue is that people want to wait forever, if only it will be perfect.
but it never will be. you can marry the girl of your dreams, have a fabulous honeymoon and get along with her whole family - but something, out of nowhere will smack the out of you and it wont be sexy. nothing is ever perfect. life can change at moment, in any way possible...
as far as most things in life, including sex, isnt the phrase: 'practice makes perfect?'
doesnt mean it will be easy, nor should you just hooch out to everyone you meet. people in the US are terrified of sex for the most part. thats why there is so much talk, and no action. and not REAL talk, but the misogynistic bs thats popular in media. either that or the opposite - religious pander disguised as loving women, without treating them like people either.
sex IS life, no one would be here otherwise, gay, straight, whatever. being holy or a whore isnt the answer - its usually just an easy way to get money, either way. accept it, and learn. thats how everything else in life works.

No, it isn't.
Personally, it did work for me. I did lost my virginity (quite a few years ago) to the girl I'll probably end up marrying. Even if we do break up for some reason, at least we did reach the point of having a stable relationship, and I can say without any hesitation that I love her, and she loves me, and all that corny stuff.
