i think it was a pretty boring trade week this year besides the judd deal, poor bloke. his definately starting from rock bottom..lets see if he can become a legend by lifting the premiership cup for the blues in a few years.
morton is a good pickup for the tiges but i think mcmahon is a run and carry player and the tiges already have to many imo...tivendale..newman..hyde..at least his kick wll hit a few more targets.
im glad the hawks didnt change there squad. i heard they were chasing higgins from the doggies for boyle, i would have been very happy with that but it didnt eventuate.
i dont think the saints will be a contender now that they have picked up a few ready made players. |

If whitnall does enter the psd where does everyone think he will go???
My guess is the kangaroos |

Oh God i hope not.
I'm no recruiting guru, but I honestly can't see any positives in another club drafting Lance. He's far too injury prone these days and certainly past his prime imo. If he was any good Carlton would not have gotten rid of him –_he was their Captain after all... |

Carlton have the most ed up Culture IMO, honestly how can you get rid of your captain, ok he had a bad year, but he was injured alot.
Not to mention the whole Josh kennedy thing.
i hope they finish in the bottom 2 again. |

if any club picks up Whitnall they should be relegated to the VFL for stupidity...
Could have been a Champion but was unperturbed by his weight and has a knee of a 70 year old. |

| whitnall has a degenerative knee that means he can only train once a week next year. looking at his history with fitness and gaining weight when injured any club that takes him would have to have some serious balls. although the western bulldogs could get him in the preseason draft and put him on a thread bare contract, having whitnall playing out of the goal square would work out okay for them. i doubt they will do it though. |

Ratts approached Lance, face to face and told him of the clubs decision and then offered him a choice of 2 coaching positions but Lance turned them down. The club gave him a gracious out. |

that night about 6 weeks ago where harvs saw him out at Starbar off his face on pingers probably made Carlton's decision a bit easier :) |
