I keep work and regular life separate and fight to keep those universes from colliding. Don't get me wrong, there are only a couple of people at work that I actually despise, but for the most part I just don't want to be reminded of work when I'm away from work. I dated someone I work with this summer, big mistake.
But hey, go for it if you think it's a good call.
Edit: I guess it all depends on what kind of a job it is, really. I work retail so it really doesn't matter what my relationship with my co-workers is. It could differ in your situation. |

Not always true. My current job wouldnt yield profit. Id end up around a douche of a boss that couldnt tell his ass from his elbow. Id rather head out with a coworker to our local hangout and actually have fun. |

just really depends on the people...
i used to get trashed every friday w/ a few co-workers, my supervisor and the HR rep at my old job. that was actually fun and didnt really have an effect at work
but at the place im at now i dont hang out w/ anybody and have no real desire to either |
