Had a pretty damn good time Friday night. Really good first night out for sure. Very nice to meet some of the Chicago crew. Plumber, Delobbo, Omega Blue, Epsilon just to name a few.

Spy Bar was cool, kind of reminder me of a nice underground Works. Music was much different then I expected. Actually dug a good portion of the night’s tunes. I was expecting a tranced out progressive type show but the music for them most part was actually more techy and such which I could dig. Props to Seneca for putting together a proper show!

Nate and I definitely wasted a few beers due to droppage. I never do that which was strange but it was probably due to my sobriety level at that point. Highlight of the night was telling Rob to ask Seneca what track was playing because it was pretty solid, he comes back and tells me it was a Topher Jones remix of Retrobyte. Was completely thrown off by that and would love a Dub version of it.

All in an all had a great time hang out with all you ******s, looking forward to do it again soon.

~ The redline trip was very interesting to say the least, lots of quote worthy material was thrown for sure.

This was a great night. I can't believe that I was actually thinking of staying in. :whip:

It was great to meet and see so many ta's. RJT, lucid, omega, seneca, plumber, quadlow, delobbo, sylvia, hmmm...i know i'm missing a bunch of others. It was definitely a well put together night and you can't beat open bar, good music, and hanging out with friends. Thanks to seneca for putting together a good night.

Nate and Mattias...you guys definitely need to work on your grip, get gloves, or something to help you hang on to your drinks.

If school doesn't work out for me at least I know that I could run a chauffeur service in Chicago. :stongue:

i was too lazy to mention this before, but Seneca did a great job opening, and i enjoyed Oliver's set a lot more than i expected to. the last time i heard a set from him was probably 2 years ago - it was a set from FriksyRadio that i used to listen to all the time at work because it was just kind of sleepy dark boring prog that i could space out to... but he really played a lot of really good tunes that made me move my feet.

i'm kind of mad that he cut his sexy hair though. maybe he's joining the army of bald white DJs.
