when is trance energy??? i keep looking at the site but it's still trance energy 2007 stuff... i was actually trying to go this year

According to element-y in the Ultra thread, WMC falls between 3/25 and 3/30 next year. If he's right, it seems the WMC organizers may be trying to avoid the MTV/spring break crowd |

well i don't think there was ever an issue with the "mtv/spring break" crowd. if i'm not mistaken, most colleges have their spring breaks early march, FIU i remembered was always like the last school to have spring break, and it was perfect because it tended to always land in WMC.
at least none of my classes in spring start early, i guess i'll just take the week off from work :p |

Correct. THe Ultra flyer states Ultra is the closing party once again and is firday and saturday on the 28th and 29th of the month. Therefore, if WMC starts on a tuesday of that week it would be the 25th. So the dates are most likely the 25th(tuesday) to the 30th (sunday). I just booked my hotel and flight based on that info.
As far as the spring break crowd, maybe WMC checks pruchase orders for events like Ultra and then match the future wmc dates based on what state had brought in the most people. I know i have spring break off that week and many in California are that same way. Im sure other state colleges and what not have to be timed with that week off. |
