That clips has been around for a while... long thread in the cor.
The whole thing the guy did was planned with his own cameramen. The snotty kid made his point. He kept on resisting while shouting the opposite. The turd got what he deserved.

He could have went right up and swore at Kerry, and it still doesn't make what the police did right or justified in any way.

He's resisting arrest.
Considering that this dude has proven to make an ass out of himself and not follow what the cops told him to do, plus struggling against getting arrested, yep. Cops could use any force necessary to subdue this guy.
I suppose bouncing his head off the floor a few times be a better option?
His freedom of speech does not apply in someone else's property.

the guy is a bit of a tard, but come on...that was a disgusting abuse of force.
there is no ing way that a group of cops can't subdue a skinny, unarmed twat without needing to shock his ass.
that's ing ridiculous and they deserve to be sanctioned, if not found criminally guilty.
that no one in the audience, until the guy was tasered (and even then only shouting at the cops) came to his defense was ing pathetic.

cops don't get paid to take a potential flailing punch or a kick to the face.
you're right. the odds of this dude landing a blow is probably not a lot. but then again, freak accidents are known to happen. like when the cops try to stand him and this guy, who's legs aren't tied up, could have delivered a potentially crippling kick to the groin or to the knees. this dude clearly showed no intention of cooperating with the cops
can the cops justify their usage of force based upon the events?
yep. this dude's been told many times to back off and stop resisting, but he keeps struggling against the cops. this dude's been verbally given warning enough times. there was a proper escalation of force being used, from verbal warnings to non deadly force.
