kill switches on dj mixers

Hi, does anyone know what frequencies are eliminated by each kill switch on a standard dj mixer? Like does a "low" kill switch kill anything more than 400Z? Does a "mid" kill switch kill anything less than 400 hZ and more than 1khz? What are the frequencies that each switch "kills"?

Thanks

I couldn't say. What I can say is that the shape of the curve is quite important as well.

I'd suggest asking this in the 'DJ Booth' section of the forum. They're quite knowledgable about this sort of thing, and I'd say someone over there can answer your question about a specific model of mixer, since there are differences.

bleh 500 is way too ing high. i would go down to 180hz, just to kill the subbass really.

This question is like asking us what size tires to put on your car and what grade of motor oil it takes without telling us what car you drive.
