Has anyone encountered this?
I've done some research and so far bugger all suggestions have been made to help rectify this situation, just wondering if anyone here has any suggestions?
I only experience audio issues with DVD, and since I run music software frequently, I doubt it is an issue with my RAM, or my soundcard.
I turned off hardware acceleration and it seemed to work nomrally again until it restarted the DVD for changes to take effect and then it buggered up again.
DVD have work fine for nearly 2 years and only recently started to act up, and I have no idea why. It is ing annoying.
Any pointers?
Thanks. |

| It takes a bit of dedicated CPU time to run a DVD properly. Make sure you aren't running anything else. |

whats the stats on your computer?
I watched Terminator 2 and wrote a paper at the same time, no problems. 5.1 processing too. My laptop is near 2 years old.
You can try downloading the K-Lite Codec Pack:

It comes with a ton of codecs and some free Media players that (i think) are better than the ones provided by Microsoft and Apple.
To be more specific (if you don't want the codec pack in entirety), here is the AC3 Filter:
