I saw Bottle Rocket recently and its ing great. |
I find the end robbery scene to be one of the funniest scenes ever put on film. ing classic.
Tennenbaums was great, Life Aquatic was great, still havent seen this, but I'm sure that it, too, is great. |

When I first saw the Royal Tennenbaums I thought it was awful - one of the most boring movies I've ever seen, and I never went back to try and watch it again.
I kind of gave up on Wes Anderson at that point, even though I loved Bottle Rocket, because I just thought he was going to be to pretentious for me to get - then i saw Life Aquatic and absolutely fell in love with it. Felt much the same way about this one, and now I'm thinking I need to go back and watch the Royal Tennenbaums again because I probably just didn't "get it" the first time. |

Its a VERY unusual film, and I know several who are just like you...got a kick outta Life Aquatic and Bottle Rocket but couldnt stand it. Its a very dry and depressing film, but I found its deadpan humor to be hilarious. |

Definitely the best movie of last year for me.
Hotel Chevalier was also a nice short :) |

:stongue: I love The Royal Tenenbaums.
The Darjeeling Limited wasn't one of Anderson's best. Tenenbaums, Life Aquatic, Bottle Rocket, Darjeeling, Rushmore is the order of favorites for me. |

Indeed. I love how it fills in on little bits of dialogue and such that you wouldn't catch otherwise. |
