DjArTiN!
ya i usually end up doing that whenever I'm mixing pitbull - bonjagles into another song. you know the beginning of the song where it has the drums going fast, i usually put that part during the other song and just repeat it, and the crowd goes crazy, i suggest trying that if you guys end up djing a party with mostly rap songs ;)

Most recently for me:

"Magda - 48 Hour Crack in Your Bass" and "Claude von Stroke - Who's Afraid of Detroit (3 Channels Mix)" go perfectly together if you phase it right.

Deep dish - Say Hello with Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes
The bass of atrc goes real nice with the vocals from say hello.

wait so just wondering, did that remix of fly to colors come out on the 15th...the day you posted that?

hooj1
many times.

you'd be surprised how many different styles of songs go together well. its all about experimentation.

i love to mix in tunes that are not considered edm with my house tunes just for fun. i have a few cds that are just full of melodies and acapella's for this reason.

My dear good...
You should check out the young DJs here in melbourne.
All they f*cking do is mashups!! It's killing me... a usual set contains the same electro house bass in each track with the vocals of some other track over it.
Heaps of these young DJs don't even have a clue how to put a decent one hour set together because they are too busy trying to mix the latest electro track with Justin Timberlake's new releases!

Yep, no !
