| I can't pick just one as my absolute favorite so I'm going by region... asian (chinese, indian, middle eastern etc.), mediterranean, latin american, caribbean, european... in that order. |

ok dont barf but Chitterlings are teh small intestines of a pig (cooked in savory crap by the southern folk im assuming)
and grits are like cornmeal.. more of a breakfast "thang" |

Lived in TN for a year and had both.... and HATED both. People from the south eat messed up crap. Almost as bad as the Scottish.
(p.s. grits is corn porridge. /shudder) |

Sheep intestines are soooooooo yummmmy when bbq'd... soo good...
I used to eat this all the time in Turkey...
