| parking is a bitch in MTL from my experience, that is why we specifically booked at a hotel which offers in and out parking or you'd be broke! |

Flying is better than driving to Montreal, but in my opinion Via is the best way to go. Don't have to get out to Pearson and you get dropped off right downtown. That alone saves you about $40 in cab fare each way. Train takes from 4hours to 5 1/2 depending on the number of stops, but with the amount of time you have to be at the airport and the cab fare its just easier.
