Here it is, the most expensive amplifier we found, the Wavac SH-833. You need two of them, and that'll cost you a cool $350,000. "This is a Hi-Fi monoblock amp which has achieved world first Class A 150W single ended. This model has the most powerful output in the world as a Class A directly heated triode single ended amplifier."

Gaku-On Amplifier, $252,500
Using pure silver "wherever possible," this Gaku-On is the second-most expensive amplifier we saw anywhere. The stunner: it's cranking out just 45 watts. That's it. Wattage isn't everything.
"The Gaku-On circuit topology is as the Ankoru/II although the Gaku-On's circuitry is completely 99.99% pure silver wherever possible, even on the mains cables. The Gaku-On is 45 watt Class A, parallel single-ended, no feedback, mono triode power amplifier pair. All Audio Note™ silver wired circuit & power supply, Audio Note™ silver foil signal capacitors & tantalum resistors, Black Gate caps where ever possible, all Audio Note™ silver wired output transformer with 0.2 mm R36 C-cores, valve compliment: 2 x NOS VT4-C/211, 2 x NOS 5R4WGB, 1 x NOS VT25/10Y per monoblock."

This cable works REALLY WELL.

Genesis Power Cable
Another electrical cable, but this one really clips you to the tune of $13,416. At least it arrives at your McMansion fully assembled.

Shakti Hallograph
Set up this thingamajig made of squiggly pieces of wood, and suddenly everything sounds different. Do not be afraid of the squiggly wood. It will help you hear things you never knew existed. That and a tab or two of acid. Shakti Hallograph is a true bargain at $999. Let's hear from one of the Moonies at 6moons.com on this one: "They delivered what they promised. I really like the flexibility of tuning you can get by moving them around the room. Most importantly, they made the sound more natural - smoother, with more harmonic decay. Everything was less etched, less hifi. It's one of the few tweaks I'd be willing to pay money for myself."

Kharma Grand Enigma
Imagine paying $1 million for a speaker system. That's what this Kharma Grand Enigma system costs. Nobody's talking about how many speakers this includes, but it doesn't matter much -- only one of the systems has been made, and you're looking at a picture of it right here.
