I don't know I just can't get it through my head. I think it's because of when I think of psy I think of hard and simple percussion, high riffs, and acid influences; when I think of prog I think somewhat the opposite.

The misidentification of artist and track names is a common consequence of music piracy :)

Since I've got it on now I thought I should drop by to recommend Prahlad's debut album... it will really appeal to anyone seeking upbeat melodic psytrance. I swear there is a bit of a tribute to some old epic trance classic on one of these tracks, but I can't name exactly which. Try it out!

Check out also Ultimae records, despite being a label usually more directed to psy downtempo-ambient, you can find a few really good psy prog track in their releases.

Asura - Life 2 (original mix)
Aes Dana - Manifold (morning edit)

Still no mention of Electro Sun in this thread? Geez, guys!

I've found his tune In My Dream one of the most slap-happy uplifting pieces of psy to come along in a while.

that's what prog-psy brings. acid influences but proggy tunes. Anything is possible.

Vibrasphere - Thermal Twist. Proggy stuff but with acid influences. And a damn fine tune as well :O)
