I just finished watching the Canadiens/Bruins game, and saw that disgusting hit by Kyle McLaren on Zednik. There is no doubt in my mind that Mclaren should get a huge suspension for what he did. This was quoted from .www.tsn.ca
"The motionless Zednik was treated on the ice for about five minutes and was taken off on a stretcher. He has been diagnosed with a broken nose, fractured cheekbone, and may have a concussion. He is not likely to return to action in the postseason"
After the game, the Montreal coach was quoted as saying he will go after Bostons top players in Saturdays game. Its going to be one messed up series if that happens. Do you think the Canadiens still have a chance? |

| i have money on boston. I think they'll pull it off, tho it would be a classic story if montreal came out on top. i need to see this hit in the highlights, sounds medievil. saturday's game definetly sounds like a watcher. did you see guerins hip check on markov? that looked pretty clean, but montreal was pissed about that as well. |

| that hit by mclaren was disgusting. even more disgusting than tie domi's hit on neidermeyer. i'd say suspend him for rest of playoffs and some more into the regular season next year. what a load of and lack of class for a human being that mclaren is. bull. |

| Yeah he better get at least what Domi got last year, otherwise I might suspect an American conspiracy is in the making... |

| At least a suspension for the rest of the playoffs. I love his comments after the game... "I've played 400 games in my career and there's not one suspension." SO WHAT??? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. So a murder suspect gets arrested and he can say that he's never killed anyone before so he couldn't have killed someone now?? Idiot. Everyone's gotta start somewhere in being a goon and McLaren just started his career of following in Marchment's footsteps. If somehow he is allowed to play the Habs again, god forbid, I hope Odjick takes his head clean off his shoulders... with his skate :D |

It looked more like Guerin stuck out his knee to trip Markov. Nothing too serious though.
The hit on Zednick was indeed horrible. The league set a precedent last year with Domi. I expect the same type of punishment. Also, the Canadiens called up a goon from the minors. Should be interesting Saturday...
I liked Montreal's chances before but now, without their most productive forward in the lineup, it will be tough. Look for Theodore to steal the next one for Montreal. |

Thats a great analogy.... I hope he gets canned for a while. |

| Well today is going to be amazing in this series... who actually things the Habs will go for the stars tonight? If they do, I hope they don't take out Samsonov cause I actually think he's got some sweet talent. They can drop Guerin like a bad habit though, hehe. Lets go Habs!! (Avs Vs. Habs remember haha)! |

| I'm praying for a Toronto vs. Montreal eastern conference final. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't wanna see that. |

I just broke out laughing wondering where you are from. Only someone from boston can say that wasn't a dirty hit. Although it is exactly like Pat Quinn saying that Corson wasn't trying to kick Eric Cairns. |

yeah Corson definetly took a go at Cairns with his knee. the Mclaren hit was bs, you never lunge at a guy with you arm like that.
anyways, the Habs won, which I'm happy about that because i'd love to play them in the conference finals and destroy them like only Toronto can. the east is finally going to be fun for once. |
