The "What Gear Does [insert producer here] Use Thread"

Given that everyone is so interested, and there are often threads asking "what does (insert famous producer here) use to make tracks?" I think it would be a good idea to start a dedicated thread with information about famous producers gear in it. This way we might avoid some of the daft generalised responses in the last one such as "well most trance producers use (insert favourite sequencer here)" or "you can only make good tracks in .... if you .... ".

Obviously, it doesn't really matter, but I'm still curious what people are using sometimes, its a good recommendation for a piece of gear if a respected producer is using it, so maybe it will help people with ideas about what to buy too.

Please keep all posts in this format:

Producer:
Date/song/album this setup was used on:

Computer/Sequencer
Controllers/mixers/desks/monitors
Hardware synths
Software synths
Hardware effects
Software effects
Drum Machines/ samplers
Audio interface
Midi gear/interfaces
Other Gear

Lets keep it strictly on topic and informative, listing where you found the info could be good too. This is not the place to discuss why reason is superior to FL, or FL is superior to logic.

Can we post videos of producers studios?
kitphillips
Yeah why not and if people want to list the gear in them too, that might be cool:)
