Wet Grooves began in 2000 as a small pool party at the Shelborne Beach Resort in Miami Beach for the Winter Music Conference, one of among 300 parties of the week. The essence of the pool party was to bring World Class DJ talent to a pool environment full of beautiful people, and the best party vibe in all of South Beach. The locals mixed with those from around the world to create an atmosphere that has grown to be, seven years later, the undisputed #1, wildest and most talked about, daytime party of all events during this music conference week.
Think Ibiza meets Spring Break: it's a collection of the world's hottest DJs and the world's hottest people.

Wet Grooves is produced annually in Miami during the WMC and Las Vegas for the VME. It has also splashed down in Austin, Dallas, Phoenix, Hollywood, Orange County, Mexico, San Francisco and soon in Houston, Chicago, Denver, San Diego, New York and Seattle.

Brian Wayne Transeau (born October 4, 1971 in Rockville, Maryland) is an electronic musician, better known by his stage name, BT. He has been called the "Father of Trance" for his pioneering in the trance genre [1],[2] and "Prince of Dance Music" for his multi-instrumentalist skills [3], and in recent years he has gained additional fame for producing Hollywood film scores.
When recording with other artists, BT has used the aliases Kaistar, Libra, Dharma, Prana, Elastic Reality, Elastic Chakra, and GTB.
BT is known in production circles for his signature technique, the stutter edit, also known as the BT stutter [4][5]. This technique consists of taking a small sample of a sound and then repeating it in a musical as well as mathematical way.
