changed heading just incase you are put off by replys
currently using cubase and just wanted somr feedback on the best filters avialable.... because the ones im using at moment some bad and take away from a very powerful tune

Fab filter Volcano is my favorite one out of pretty much all of them |

From the freeware AM LFO Filter is worth checking (many filter modes and emulations). For a lighter (less CPU consumption) filter, Kjaerhus Classic Auto-Filter does a good job.
The best sounding software filter at the moment imo is Sonalksis TBK1. Not free though, but you can download an evaluation version as with the Volcano. |

I'd also mention that one, but if you're looking for a fast, easy-to-use filter, this one might be close to overkill :)
Also quite an expensive tool...
I'd also go for any of the Kjearhus filters. |

the antares filter algorythms sound really harsh. I would stay away from that one. Try the demo to fabfilter. It blows all the above mentioned filters out of the water. |
