I just come to the realization that I get excited everytime i get to drink these days.

since i drive to see my gf I don't usually get to drink until saturday, which is fine..but say we're gonna go to the bar or somthing, I get rather giddy and it is the highlight of my weekend.

"what did you do on the weekend brad?"

"got drunk at boston pizza! YAH! /hi-five"
mezzir
hah if that makes you an alcoholic, the entire student body of UMass are alcoholics

also, i drink most nights, but a beer or two, raaaaarely more

being young and enjoying partying on the weekends ≠ alcoholism

If that makes you an alcoholic then I should be in rehab.
Most of us live for the week-end to go have some fun, dance and get boozed up.
We're just happy drunks...alcoholics go to meetings.

Nothing wrong with enjoying drinking. You should only be concerned if you can't stop and it becomes problematic.
