Joy Division seems to be one of the forgotten great influences of modern music. I like New Order a lot, but Joy Division's productions were ing solid. |

He may be the progenetor of all things emo, but he's also the progenetor of tons of music including electronic music. Have you heard some of the sampled sounds on their records? Ground breaking, man.
And if by emo you mean suicidal, that's no reason to dismiss his talent. |

Indie rock snobs are easy to break the ice with.
Just say: "If it doesn't have a synth, it's not music". At that point, people will be polarized to agree with you or hate your ing guts. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that people who disagree with you are ing morons. Proceed from there. :gsmile: |
