usually somewhere in the 'midi setup' part of the preferences...i dont use ableton, but just look around in the options/preferences...there should be an option to eiether link the veloctiy to a different parameter, or to disable the velocity completely. |

change the velocity sensitivity in your controller. i have done so with my edirol pcr-1 the the min velocity is 50 for me (50-127 not 0-127) you can choose whatever value for it as i recall. read the manual. |

I've lost my manual. Can anybody explain me how to solve the problem with velocity? I would be grateful. |

download your controller manual from the net and check if you can change the velocity. |

Read my post again.
Now go into Ableton and do the obvious.
If you can't figure that out;
Ditch Ableton Live, go buy a guitar then join a punk rock band. |
