I thought this might be a helpful thread for those driving into NYC on weekends.
Anyone have good suggestions for street parking locations in NYC on weekends starting with friday evening after 7pm?
Preferably no muni-meter spots, or spots where you have to move your car on Saturday prior to 2pm or so.
Thanks in advance. |

If i recall correctly, 31st Street between 1st and 2nd aves you can park for a few days. I think alt street regulations is ONE day on the weekdays. Hopefully that hasnt changed...
Also 3rd avenue around the Village/Cooper Square area...I recall you can park there over the weekend without having to move it.
Yeah i HATE those munimeter/places with Night Regulations ugh. bad for clubbers. |

| Well, if it's for going out at night, do West-Side/12th Ave., it's your best bet. |

take the train.
midtown is hell, muni meters everyday until 12, except sunday. there is a bunch of free weekend parking by washington square park. get there early though, b4 8, or you're probably not going to find much. |
