I left at 5:45 when he played that Rank 1 track. I wanted to get my coat and bounce before there would be 1000+ ppl trying to get their coat at the same time as me. LOL. |

hahhaa that is so funny and true. he looked very serious and wasn't as interactive with the crowd as in previous events. i thought he was a little sad because he went from #1 to #4?
PVD, you're still #1 in my heart! |

I' going to give my full review tomorrow or maybe even monday.
I have to get this out the way. There is only 1 time that I have ever heard this song live and it was the week after PvD got #1 in 2005 @ Space.
I could have died.
Schiller mit Heppner - I FEEL YOU
/faints!
That is the most gorgeous classic EVER!!!!!!!!!!! Makes me wanna
I feel you,
in every stone,
in every leaf of every tree,
that you ever might have grown.
I feel you,
in every thing,
in every river that might flow,
in every seed you might have sown.
I feel you. |

ha ha did the same thing you did
as soon as i was walkin back up the stairs it was over and everyone and their mother was rushing down i was like ahhhh ur beat lol
yea onto the night the rain sucked walkin from my car to roseland i got pretty wet
got right in no problem jason was doin his thing
pvd came on that that new york city intro was amazing thats deff one of the highlights of the night
from then on he was on point and like djquick said from like 3:30 on he was killin it
he played a few like breakbeat songs in the middle of his set which to me was kinda weird but overall he was dope
the encores were dope the nothing but you live and la dolce vita wow
as for everything else it was good to see madd people dressed up
some pretty interesting costumes
i though it was madd weak how made and roseland didnt put any effort into decorating the place i mean you go to other clubs like pacha and when crobar was open they go all out it was kinda weak they didnt do
but the lights, lasers, video and sound was dope when i stood in the back by the bar and looked at the stage it looked like i was at trance energy just mad high ceilings, a few thousand fan and the lasers
good seeing all the ta's we didnt really hold ish down cause everyone includeing myself kept gettin lost lol
but yea over all it was a madd fun night |

Very fun night with Paul. I had the best time out of the 5 parties I've been to this year. As one of my friends said, the only PvD you should have in your mind is the 6hr-NYC one. The experience just can't be matched.
I always love when Paul plays older tunes. CJ Stone - Shine, and I Feel You were really the only regular PvD of old songs played. Hey, I'll take what I can get. When those tracks come I just go crazy like I once did in the past. I love it.
Another highlight was that Paul played La Dolce Vita, which in recent times he doesn't usually play...you just have to scream it really loud in his face for him to play it. |

| i had a great time as well. loved the sound, the lasers, great set. friendly crowd with some people with crazy costumes (like this guy with the stereo sound bar going up and down on his shirt. ing sweet shirt). first time at roseland ballroom and god damn that place is huge. roseland should throw more parties like that, not just for pvd =) |

Couldn't have said it any better. That track blew my mind and it was dropped at what seemed like the perfect moment. Awesome.
I'll post a full review later but PvD was on point and highly exceeded expectations. |

PvD was downright nasty. So many sick tracks at just the right time. Overall, the music was great. I think he lost the crowd a little with some of his new stuff but he grabbed them right back.
The crowd was having a BLAST. Everybody who wasnt completely wasted was really friendly. Lots of people dancing, not so many fist pumpers as I expected lol.
Really good to hear him playing the sort of sounds that NYC likes.
Coulda used 2 or 3 more oldskool tracks but thats just being greedy, I'm not complaining.
What woulda happened if he played Lethal Industry? Or Sophie Sugar - Call of Tomorrow?
Can't wait to see him throw down again. |
