it just gets stuck like this when i open, what to do?

wow woops thats a wide pic rofl scroll ---> that way to see lol..

ok its opend now but it keeps doing this and i just try like 10 times and it eventually comes back.. Sup?
s-cube
Hmmmm have you tried re-installing cubase?

I once had a similar problem where none of my projects would open up & reinstalling cubase didn't help either. Had to re-install windows & everything finally worked.

Since then i have a backup with all my plugins already installed in windows. So if something goes wrong i just restore it & in 30 mins its up & running.
dannib
Maybe try buying Cubase? lol
mysticalninja
Does that really work? Can you just back up your vstplugins folder and replace it? I do need to format.. it's due time.. but having to reinstall and activate plugins again suxxxx.
s-cube
Nope, the best way to do it is to do a clean install & then install all the apps & plugins you need. Then make a backup using a program like Acronis True Image.

Then you're all set for any future crashes or errors, all you do is click on your backup & your pc restores to its original state, no more formatting or installing apps ever again.

Bahhh it won't open this morning. Anything else I can try before format? I am so lazy..

Remove/rename some of your plugins. Then reapply later.

Look firstly at:

a) Your most recently installed
b) The ones used in that track
c) The "unlimited demo" ones (IF you have any)

Do any previous versions of the project file open properly?

I had once that issue with a tune I spent alot of time working with, since then, I always do several versions, so I have always a back up, is actually, the way to go, in studios they even save by dates, so you can go back to a previous song if needed.

Kopi =o.
