YES! The animated series is my favorite cartoon of all time. Other honorable mentions...

- Tom & Jerry (I still watch it every afternoon at 1 on Cartoon Network. Second best cartoon ever; simple yet brilliant, and amazing animation without the use of computers)
- Looney Tunes
- Sesame Street (okay, not a cartoon but I can't find many old cartoons on TV that I used to watch)

i wonder if kids these days who see the simpsons realize that itchy and scratchy is a direct parody of tom and jerry


also, i used to wake up wicked early on weekends to catch the good cartoons (old school looney tunes etc, road runner > *) before the ty newer ones came on

which is why the time he got him on family guy is so funny. He's probably seen the episode & thought 'who's that'
