I see nothing wrong with that - heck, I'd rather meet parents like that (coming over), rather then never meet them (been in that situation, for 2 years lol)

also: I totally see the cultural part Cosmic and Katie mentioned - most of my older relatives were boggled out of their mind when I moved across the ocean on my own
in my country, girls live at home until they get married, guys are pretty much the same... when my parents got married, they lived with my grandparents, and my aunt, in a 2 bedroom apartment, until they could afford a small flat on their own
at the end of the day, it all pretty much boils to 1. convenience, 2. financially easier and 3. some cultural aspect |
