Has anyone ever saw (you can't READ it) the book "Asian Ladies" by Uwe Ommer before? I "came across it" on www.amazon.com before and decided to post something up on the (TA) board. Here's the http://www.amazon.com/ review: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/A...7786295-4543328

Is it possible that I can get more reviews elsewhere of this title? If so, where?

Also, if possible, can an e-Book version of this title be found? If so, where?

Thanks in advance!

PS: I'm expecting to get questioned/flamed/etc. so if you feel you need to, BRING IT ON!!!

I have a sudden urge for some rice.

hahah, I'm not even gonna ask how you "accidently" found this book.

This is a great book for TAs, since it's all pictures and barely any words. hahahha

well i just happened to be using a community computer in a library (in Japan) at this time and i find this post. so i go to the other computer and sarch to find this book since i am here. will the search said there were 15 copies here code # on the book is 779 OMM so i go and look for it. but they didnt have it so i go up to the front desk and ask about it (and this is a Japanese librarian, embarrasement!!), so i ask her why not and she said "... because its not appropriate.", and "its a picture book." so theres the DL from an Asian Lady, to you. thanks to me:) :) :) :o

Why ISN'T it appropriate? It's not X-rated! They don't allow books w/out words in the library? You'd think that since it's a LIBRARY, that they'd have ALL kinds of books! But, I guess not... You should've JUST ask for the code number (or Dewey Decimal Number)-- that way, you won't need to mention the title...
