reach me: quite liked. although reminded me too much of 'ten seconds before sunrise' in places

where do we go: pretty average but didn't mind it. liked the part at 4:52

rhapsody: some nice melodies but it felt a bit too andy moor-ish

falling: loved the bassline on this but the breakdowns/vocals weren't up to much

between the notes: this was pretty , generic wannabe tech house

your own way: way too poppy, just sounds like a copy of 'what you need'/'in the dark' too

half light: decent, although the break was waaaay too long

alter ego: too glitchy & minimal for my liking, but ok for what it was

evergreen: tune :D was convinced this was a tiesto production when i first heard it, breakdown totally sounds like something he'd open his sets with. awesome track though, totally encapsulates that ~5am end-of-set feel towards the end

sierra nevada: best track on the album (although i'd sooner hear evergreen in a club).. had a kind of oldschool classic trance vibe to it only with an updated feel. hope they explore this style more

overall pretty meh, but some good moments... also consistently well-produced, with a nice oldschool ITWT-esque atmosphere running through a few of the tracks. infact if someone had told me this was a new tiesto album i'd have probably believed them :stongue:
kikoolol
Listening to it right now ... decent stuff, especially the first three tracks which have a nice melodic vibe ! Can't wait to hear Sierra Nevada :)

Gee, nice to see a forum dedicated to uplifting and happy music be full of such anger and hatred.

what forum might that be then? :clown:
yahoo
Think Sierra Nevada is severely overrated, sounds like Global Experience trying to make something more uplifting... But then I really like Where Do We Go with Tiff Lacey... Didn't think 2007 would bring even more massive vocal tracks, but this one totally blew me away... just has that right vibe, love it!

I must have missed the sign that says the forum is dedicated to "happy music". :disbelief

Oh cmon now :disbelief indeed! Obviously I didn't mean to say that such a physical sign existed. I guess that was a mistake seeing as how some people regard this music as something other than uplifting and happy! Perhaps depressing, hate-inspiring or angry music? I must admit, ATB's "Don't Stop/Till I come" remix always seemed like a secret nazi subliminally influenced tune, anyone else?
