| Yea, it used to say "coming fall 2006" I remember seeing those pull down doors. That's why I thought "guess there's going to be no Sound Factory". Just very wierd....pull down doors on a club. Place doesn't seem like its 27,000 sq. feet either. Isn't it just 2 stories?? Doesn't look like 4 to me. I cannot imagine that place holding 2,000 people! Either way---hopefully it opens. But given what has happened to Nocturnal and Twilo---god knows....there's only ONE SPACE!! Nobody seems to fair that well. Twilo made TONS of mistakes though...let's hope Soundfactory doesn't make the same ones. |

WOOHOO. Goodbye mansion. Thing is mansion seems to have the biggest events out of the EDM scene in Miami so i dont know if this will happen. However my roomate's dad is a co owner of the place and says Mansion is having issues along with the opium group in general - so who knows. |

Doesn't surprise me. Clubs down here are constantly having to close, reinvent themselves, and reopen under a new theme. Mansion's pretty stale, but it's great they finally cleared out the dancefloor of VIP tables. |

It is hilarious...but not when they walk up in front of your building on occasion. Something i do not miss! :0
Anyhow, POD on Cooljunkie, (who usually knows his Sh_T) has informed us that the article posted on Page one, along with the website, are about 18 months old, and that there WILL BE NO SOUNDFACTORY MIAMI. He says the deal fell through months ago, and that the building is being renovated for another use--i.e., not a nightclub.
Who knows what the truth is now....i suspected it fell through as well. Does anyone have definitive information about this??? |

mansion isnt going down. Pacha was rumored to be going up where mansion is now. but that was years ago. the deal fell through. |

i want to rent real estate from you, $467,500 is per month (and it's not roughly, it's exactly). ;)
btw....$17 per sq ft is cheap, either i don't know the miami market, or that's a great deal. |

| never said mansion is going down, just that management is having issues at the moment (opium group in general not just mansion). They made sell ownership in a couple of years. |
